Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Payroll Process SME for a contract position in Rahway, NJ. The opportunity will be one year with a strong chance for a long-term extension. Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:The selected individual will not be processing payroll. Will need understanding of underlying processes and how these can be applied at client. Individual would be expected to ask questions and challenge the status quo. Selected individual will partner with team to review processes and recommend best practices and industry knowledge. Should be able to utilize knowledge of both leadership and hands-on experience to provide consultant-style, end-to-end, payroll process improvement guidance. Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 8+yrs of applicable experience Knowledge of ADP Technology ev6, Workday, MS Office Candidate would need to be subject matter expert (SME) in ADP functionality Experience working with large global organizations (Position will be U.S. focused so experience with large organizations within the U.S. is the priority). Experience providing guidance on payroll best practices (i.e. knowledge of variance reports and other "checks and balances") Experience speaking with vendors (i.e. ADP, E&Y, Fidelity) End-to-End payroll processing experience Process Improvement Mindset Sr Level Project Lead in Payroll Preferred:Able to articulate their role Has attention to detail Able to work well within a well-established team End-to-end payroll knowledge with an emphasis on payroll processing Ability to assist with change management Experience with the Service Now Ticket system helpful If this job is a match for your background, we would be honored to receive your application!
