HELP WANTED PAYROLL DIRECTOR The Berkshire County Sheriff's Office, Jail and House of Correction has an immediate opening for a full time (40 hr/wk) Payroll Director. Position oversees the payroll functions and benefit programs of the Berkshire County Sheriff's Office, a Massachusetts state agency, ensuring pay and benefits are processed timely, accurately, and in compliance with collective bargaining agreements, government rules and regulations and HR policies and procedures. Must be proficient in, or ability to become proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Access) and position specific computer platforms including, but not limited to, MMARS, LCM, HRCMS, Schedule Anywhere, and BEST program. Salary Range: $93,603.57 - $115,114.44 based on qualifications and experience. Full state benefit package including life, health, dental and vision insurance, deferred compensation plan, flexible spending account, generous paid leave plans, tuition remission at state colleges, vesting in State Retirement Plan after 10 years of service, annual step increases, and the following education incentive annually after probationary period in addition to annual wages: Associates Degree - $2,000.00 Bachelors Degree - $2,500.00 Masters Degree - $3,000.00 Applications available on our website: bcsoma.org or may be picked up in our main lobby at 467 Cheshire Road, Pittsfield, MA., and returned to Diane Maynes, ADS, Berkshire County Sheriff's Office, 467 Cheshire Road, Pittsfield, MA 01201.
