Job Opportunity: Payroll and Accounts Administration Location: Darwen Type: Full Time Salary: GBP 27,500 Working as part of the team you will work alongside your fellow Administrator reporting to the Care Home Manager, providing accounts/administration support. In this busy and varied role you will be responsible for, but not limited to: - Processing payroll, calculating annual leave, processing holiday hours. - Processing of receipts of monies against Clients' accounts. - Completing and maintaining accurate financial records. - Recruitment processing and DBS checks. - Preparing Management Reports. - Assist with preparing and submitting relevant Client financial information to enable the preparation of invoices to Clients and Local Authorities and fees chasing. - Maintain Staff attendance records. - Maintain complete files for Clients and Staff Members in line with the Company's policies and procedures. - Provide administrative / secretarial support to the Home Manager e. g. typing, filing, dealing with correspondence etc, within given timescales. - Cash handling : accurate recording of monies issued and received. - Control/checking of invoices. - General admin duties including distribution of incoming mail. What you will bring to the Team- Previous financial/accounts experience, be a quick learner, good at prioritising tasks, managing workload under pressure and have high attention to detail. - Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office packages especially Word and Excel. - A genuine interest in working within a caring environment. - An appreciation of need for confidentiality.
