About the Position:We are working with a Chambers-ranked Chicago-based law firm that has an immediate need for a patent prosecution lawyer to join as a mid-level associate. This cutting-edge firm represents clients in the food and beverage, pharmaceutical, medical device, and cosmetic industries in litigation, regulatory, and IP matters.Highlights: - Chambers-ranked boutique firm - Ranked as one of the best law firms in 2024 - Hybrid work flexibilityResponsibilities: - Prepare, file, and prosecute patent applications - Draft new patent applications - Conduct patentability analysis - Assist with patent clearance studies - Prepare client correspondenceRequired Qualifications: - 3+ years of patent prosecution experience in the field of chemical or life sciences and a degree in a biological or chemistry field - Must be registered to practice with the USPTO and previous experience with the food, beverage, nutritional supplement, cosmetics, or pharmaceutical industries is a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr
