The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patent litigation and a passion for excellence in a fast-paced legal environment.Duties and Responsibilities:Represent clients in patent litigation matters before various courts and administrative bodies.Manage and prepare for trial, including drafting and filing motions, handling depositions, and overseeing expert reports.Conduct discovery management and strategize on evidence gathering and case development.Engage in pre-trial and trial preparation, including legal research and brief writing.Work with clients to develop litigation strategies and provide legal advice on patent-related issues.Participate in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution processes.Collaborate with senior attorneys and other team members to ensure effective case management.Stay updated on developments in patent law and related regulations.Requirements:4-7 years of experience in patent litigation.Experience with trial preparation, motions, depositions, expert reports, and discovery management.PTAB (Patent Trial and Appeal Board) and ITC (International Trade Commission) experience is a plus.Strong organizational and writing skills.Excellent academic credentials.Demonstrated desire to excel in a law firm environment.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Licensed to practice law in the state of Washington, DC (or eligible for admission).Skills:Expertise in patent law and litigation strategies.Proficiency in legal research and writing.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Effective communication and negotiation skills.Ability to manage multiple cases and projects simultaneously.Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in legal documentation.
