The historic Roosevelt New Orleans is seeking a talented Pastry Chef! This Waldorf Astoria hotel has over 60,000 square ft of banquet space and is known for impeccable service and beautiful, historic venues that are unrivaled in New Orleans. The Roosevelt offers an exciting opportunity to be a part of the hotel that defined luxury throughout the early 1900s and continues to set a new standard of luxury today. The Pastry Chef at The Roosevelt New Orleans participates in pastry production. Creates/prepares/produces/bakes breads, rolls, breakfast pastries and desserts according to standard recipes for restaurants and banquets. Decorates pastries/cakes with creativity and skill. Maintains adequate supply of all prepared products on hand and ensures the proper storage. Ensures compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards.
