Our Parts Department team knows that what they do is a lot bigger than getting our technicians the parts they need for repairs and working with our customers and suppliers to pick up and deliver parts. This team is a strategic partner within the bustling Service Team at Serra Traverse City, collaborating on and supplying parts to complete vehicle repairs as well as assisting our wholesale parts customers. Parts Department team members provide these services thanks to an established process for proven success. As a Parts Delivery Driver/Runner, you will drive to pick up and/or deliver parts, work closely with the Service Team to receive parts requests from our technicians, order and deliver the necessary parts, and assisting our wholesale parts customers with orders in a fast-paced environment. This is an opportunity for someone who appreciates consistently achieving turn-around goals, is detail orientated, has effective communications skills, and is efficient with timelines, all rolled into one awesome, extremely rewarding job! What are the job qualifications and opportunities? EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Ability to maintain strong trusting relationships with technicians and customers. Have automotive parts experience. You will receive additional training and coaching by Serra employees. Computer skills are a plus as this position views exploded parts diagrams often. Ability to maintain and organize parts inventory, keeping things neat and orderly, is a big part of this position. Attention to detail is a plus. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Must possess a Valid Driver's License which meets our company insurance standards.
