A bit about us: We’re an open-minded family of 5 including our cat! We have lived all over the world, and enjoy travel. We both work outside the home in media. We are very engaged with current events, world news, and popular culture. We like movies, writing, and seeing live music. Our 2-year-old daughter likes Barbies, Play-Doh and jumping. Her current musical interest is screaming and her favorite hobby is ballet. The care is primarily for her. Our 7-year-old son likes math, karate, and Pokémon. He’s going into 2 nd grade. He likes to build cars and robots out of found materials. He wants to be an artist! A bit about you: You live close to Santa Monica so this job is a good fit for you. You have the spirit of Mary Poppins, but might have hot pink hair and tattoos! You’re that perfect combination of both fun and cautious. You’re a good listener, diligent, and a creative problem-solver. You’re the nanny that is on the floor playing with kids. You’re very loving! Job Duties: Pick up our 2-year-old daughter in the Pacific Palisades, playtime with our toddler, light housework, easy snack/meal prep, grocery shopping, kids’ laundry, dishes, caring for the toddler and providing safe, age-appropriate activities. Position Highlights : Guaranteed Hours Long-term Outlook 10 Days of Paid Time Off Gas Mileage Reimbursement No cooking experience is needed (Dad likes to cook!) Qualifications : Your commute is 25 minutes or less to Santa Monica, you have some experience with toddlers, a valid Driver’s License, clean driving record, reliable transportation, and are willing to use your car for school pick-ups. Set yourself apart : You speak Hungarian and/or love arts and crafts. Schedule: Monday-Thursday (3-7p) Friday (2-6p) Starts January 2025! Pay: $26-$30 an hour **All applicants must first interview with a Jovie specialist. Qualifying applicants will meet the family prior to being hired. This job is not visa eligible. *Please note that during this time of COVID-19, Jovie expects all employees to follow CDC guidelines and ensure best hygiene practices when working and in their personal time.
