Position Details: Location : Long Beach, CA 90807 Child in Care : Girl born 7/29/2024 (currently a young infant) Schedule : Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, 8 AM - 4 PM Primary Responsibilities: Bottle feeding with breast milk, burping, and monitoring feeding progress Diaper changing and clothing changes as needed Engaging in play and interactions, including mat time, tummy time, reading, and singing Following the family’s routine for naps, feeding, and play Assisting with cleaning bottles and baby laundry Maintaining a clean and organized environment by wiping up messes and sanitizing surfaces Care and Safety Requirements: Adhering to AAP guidelines for safe sleep (back sleeping only, no blankets in crib) Washing hands before holding or feeding Charlotte Limiting phone use to breaks (photos and videos for family are allowed, but no posting on social media) Communicating with parents by documenting Charlotte’s behavior, moods, and needs (e.g., supplies) Family Preferences and Expectations: Qualifications : Baby CPR/First Aid certification, clean driving record, good references, up-to-date vaccinations (Flu, COVID, TDAP, TB) Personality Traits : Clean, tidy, organized, punctual, with a concise communication style Preferred Skills : Experience with infant care, bottle feeding, burping, and soothing Additional Information: Parents work from home; occasionally, neither parent may be home briefly during working hours. The family has pets (2 dogs and 2 cats); nanny should be comfortable around animals and monitor for safety around the baby. Recording devices are present in the home (crib camera, front door camera, and occasionally a pet camera). Agency Qualifications: At least 2+ years of experience with infants or young toddlers Authorized to work in the U.S., over the age of 18 Own a licensed and insured vehicle Professional and trustworthy, able to follow directions and adapt to family routines Ready to Join Us?
