Part Time General Catering Assistant Roman Ridge, Sheffield GBP 10.52 16 hours per week We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed General Catering Assistant, who will ensure high standards of cleanliness throughout Roman Ridge, whilst adhering to health and safety guidelines. In addition to this, you will also assist with meal preparation within our Taste restaurant and help serve meals. Our restaurant is open to customers from 9am:2pm, seven days a week for lunch and snacks. Roman Ridge provides supported living accommodation to adults aged 55 and over. Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, open manner are essential for success in this role. We value our team and encourage learning and progression through our comprehensive induction programme, as well as on: going training to develop new and existing skills and encourage progression. Read more about Roman Ridge on our website The role of General Catering Assistant will include: : Helping to prepare meals and drinks, following food hygiene standards : Working with residents, families, advocates and staff to ensure a high standard of services: Undertaking general duties as assigned, such as maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen, communal areas and customers' flats: Identifying and reporting potential faults and hazards on site, to maintain a safe environment: Maintaining stock levels, restocking as required and ensuring equipment is used in line with guidance notes Skills and experiences: : Working knowledge and experience of undertaking general cleaning duties is essential: Some experience of working in a domestic/cleaning environment: Good interpersonal and customer service skills: A general understanding of health and safety in the work place:.
