Description:
Javitch Block LLC is looking for a full-time Paralegal/Case Management Specialist to work in our downtown Cleveland, OH office. This individual will be responsible for receiving and processing mail, faxes, and emails from consumers, consumer's attorneys or debt settlement companies, third parties, and the courts. Responsibilities: Determine if mail should be routed to a collector or an attorney Assign files to attorneys based on file type, client requirements and jurisdiction; and coordinate follow up reviews for attorneys Update docket of court appearances Contact courts and process document requests to courts to obtain copies of pleadings Answer court call phone line, and handle incoming faxes/emails Notarize legal documents Required Skills Solid written and verbal communication skills Ability to multi-task and stay organized with a strong attention to detail Ability to handle high work volume and prioritize tasks efficiently Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word) Notary Certificate preferred, but can be obtain post-employment Education High School Diploma or GED required Javitch Block offers a comprehensive benefits program including helath insurance, life insurance, short and long-term disability, paid vacation/sick time, and 401(k) with company match.
