Job Duties and Responsibilities- The Order Manager will be successful by fulfilling the following job responsibilities competencies and values. Develop and maintain exceptional Business Partner relationships Influences Business Partners as a Product Giant Excellent verbal and written communication Ensure order accuracy Communicate order status, progress and timelines Set expectations on products and production process Be an expert on our production process, lead times, transit times and ship methods Prioritize non-production ready orders (NPR) and convert to production ready Forecast order dollars converted in month by setting probabilities and accurately setting the estimated ship month Manages all order detail needed to convert NPR to Production Ready for orders set to Month Communicates NPR and pipeline conversion rates to Customer Service Manager Establish and execute timelines for project Understand details of project requirements Set expectations with Business Partners regarding deliverables Ensure seamless communication both internally and externally so all order details and customer expectations are met Close and hand off project for order fulfillment to production by completing the pre-production milestones Managing ship date timelines to ensure project deadlines are met Hours are typically Monday-Friday between the hours of 7a-5p. However, during busy times, overtime and weekend hours will be required. Hybrid work schedule may be available after initial in office training is complete. Qualification and Skill Requirements: Prior Experience : This position requires more than 5 years in a customer service position. Knowledge Requirements To be effective, this position requires specific knowledge of call management techniques for servicing a high volume of calls and a general understanding of business processes of ordering, processing, and fulfilling customer orders with high levels accuracy and customer satisfaction. To be effective, this position requires specific knowledge of current Microsoft Office and general use of personal computers. Knowledge is normally acquired through high school education with some college or technical or trade school credits or equivalent. Must type at least 54 wpm. Experience using Order Tracker a plus, but not required.
