Operating Room Registered Nurse Circulator

Do you want to be a valued member of a team who plays a critical role in providing excellent care to patients in a surgical setting? If so, consider joining our team as a Full Time Operating Room Registered Nurse Circulator. Key responsibilities of this role include: Monitoring procedures in operating rooms during surgery acting as an intermediary between the operating room staff and the rest of the hospital Keeping the surgical area clean and organized for the scrub nurse and the physician; removing instruments and sponges as they are used during the procedure Preparing the patient for the procedure and handling the preparation for the operating room before the surgery takes place Assessing the patient's condition before a surgical procedure and during the procedure to ensure the best outcome, working with a physician to develop the care plan for the patient Key qualifications to be considered for this role include: License to practice as an RN Current American Heart association BLS certification Current ACLS certification at start or acquired within first 90 days of employment Preferred 3+ years of experience in a surgical setting Behaviors Preferred Detail Oriented: Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well Enthusiastic: Shows intense and eager enjoyment and interest Team Player: Works well as a member of a group Motivations Preferred Flexibility: Inspired to perform well when granted the ability to set your own schedule and goals
