Salary: $24.02 - $29.24 Hourly Location : Shakopee, MN Job Type: Seasonal Job Number: 00483 Department: Public Works Division: Street Maintenance Opening Date: 09/27/2024 Closing Date: Continuous Summary The City of Shakopee is now accepting applications for the position of On-call Snowplow Operator. Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Duties include removal of snow from city streets, parking lots, cul-de-sacs, alleys, sidewalks and parks. Must be available to plow & salt as needed, including nights, weekends and holidays. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Remove snow from City streets, parking lots, cul de sacs, alleys, sidewalks and parks. (City vehicle provided). Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older Must possess a valid Driver's License with a good driving record. Available to plow snowfalls of 2 or more as needed, including nights, weekends and holidays. Additional Information Knowledge of City street system and snow plowing experience preferred.
