You’ll act as the first point of contact for the business, answer phone calls, schedule meetings, make travel arrangements, handle mail and deliveries, and help us with other operational duties to keep everything running smoothly. Responsibilities: • Handle deliveries and manage incoming and outgoing mail• Assist with other administrative tasks, such as data entry, copying, filing etc. • Customer service : Greeting patients and visitors, and providing a welcoming atmosphere • Scheduling : Booking and re-booking appointments • Patient records : Maintaining accurate patient records • Payments : Collecting payments from patients • Insurance : Verifying insurance Medical/PPO and ensuring the practice has the latest insurance information • Administrative tasks : Handling other administrative duties• Treatment planning: Going over treatment with patient for there next visit, helping them understand the importance of the treatment and to break down all financial aspects. Qualifications: • Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office• High school graduate, G.E.D. recipient, or equivalent • Well-versed in taking telephone calls and handling stressful situations• 1 year of experience as a receptionist, administrative assistant, guest service specialist, or similar position preferred• Excellent interpersonal skills, organizational skills, customer service skills, and verbal communication skills Compensation: $18 - $21 hourly About Company: At QH Dental, we strive to be your one-stop dental office in Irvine, California.
