This role is ideal for attorneys with a strong background in complex family law matters, especially those involving significant financial considerations. The candidate will be responsible for managing cases independently from start to finish, assisting clients in need, and contributing to the firm’s mission of supporting the military community. This position offers a unique opportunity for growth within a supportive environment focused on professional development.DutiesManage all aspects of litigation, including:Conducting client consultations and case assessmentsPreparing for and attending depositions and hearingsPerforming in-depth legal researchAppearing in court proceedingsHandle family law cases with complex, financially heavy details independentlyContribute to the firm’s strategic growth, particularly near major military installations across the U.S.Actively engage in the military community, supporting clients' unique needsRequirementsMinimum of 7 years of substantial litigation experience, with a focus on family lawAbility to handle cases autonomously, managing each phase of litigation independentlyValid license to practice law in Maryland.Demonstrated dedication to serving the military community or similar groupsEducationJuris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law schoolCertificationsState Bar certification for law practice in MarylandSkillsStrong litigation skills, including client counseling, case analysis, and trial preparationProficiency in legal research and court appearance readinessExcellent written and verbal communication skillsEffective time management and ability to prioritize caseloadsBenefits of the RoleAccess to a steady stream of firm-provided leadsProfit-sharing opportunities within the firmProfessional listing on the firm’s website for increased visibilityComplimentary administrative support, including reception and call management servicesUse of practice management software and tools at no costReduced-cost office space available
