Job Title : Occupational Therapy Assistant Location : Great Bend, KS Shift : 1-2 Shifts Per Week, 6-8 Hours (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) Salary : $30.00 per hour Benefits : No Benefits Job Description: The Occupational Therapy Assistant will provide therapeutic services to home health patients under the direction of a licensed occupational therapist. This part-time role offers flexibility with 1-2 shifts per week, making it ideal for an OTA who enjoys working in a home health setting. You will assist patients in regaining their independence and improving their quality of life by following individualized care plans. Responsibilities: Implement occupational therapy treatments according to the care plan established by the supervising occupational therapist. Monitor patient progress and report changes to the occupational therapist. Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and therapeutic exercises. Assist patients in improving their ability to perform daily living activities and regain independence. Qualifications: Education: Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program. Licenses: Licensed to practice as an OTA in the state of Kansas. Certifications: BLS certification required within the first two weeks of employment. Experience: New graduates are welcome to apply!
