Job Title: Occupational Therapist Location: Denton, Texas Shift: 12-Hour Days / 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM Shifts Per Week: 3 Scheduled Hours: 36 Salary: $30-$40 per hour Overview: As a full-time Occupational Therapist. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, focusing on patient care that emphasizes recovery and rehabilitation. Essential Functions: Conduct evaluations, treat patients, and monitor their progress, adjusting therapy programs and goals as needed. Perform detailed clinical documentation promptly and accurately, and enter charges. Communicate effectively with patients, families, colleagues, and other members of the healthcare team. Provide education and guidance to patients, families, and staff to enhance understanding and performance. Supervise ancillary staff, students, and volunteers to ensure quality care delivery. Stay abreast of and implement evidence-based practices through ongoing education and literature review. Key Success Factors: Excellent problem-solving skills with high attention to detail. Strong communication skills to positively interact with all levels of the healthcare team. Proficient computer skills and ability to operate standard rehabilitation equipment.
