A company is looking for a Complex Coder Physician Practice OBGYN. Key Responsibilities Analyze medical records and accurately code diagnostic and procedural information Abstract clinical diagnoses and procedure codes into electronic medical records Provide quality assurance for medical records to ensure compliance with coding rules and regulations Required Qualifications, Training, and Education High school diploma/GED or equivalent specialized training in medical record keeping Active certification as a CPC, CCS, CCS-P, RHIA, or RHIT Three or more years of complex professional coding experience within specialty Knowledge of ICD and CPT coding principles Ability to work effectively in a remote setting using common office and coding software
