OB/GYN Hospitalist Opportunity – UPMC Western Maryland, Cumberland, MD Sign-On Bonus Available | No On-Call Requirement About the Opportunity: Join the labor and delivery team at UPMC Western Maryland, which includes obstetricians, certified nurse midwives, lactation consultants, and nurses dedicated to supporting parents through every step of childbirth. With the latest in childbirth technology, wireless fetal monitoring, and a Level II NICU, UPMC Western Maryland sees 800-900 births annually. OBHG’s OB/GYN Hospitalists are in-house experts with the ability to manage any obstetric emergency, significantly enhancing patient safety and satisfaction. As a clinician-centered organization, OBHG offers an exceptional benefits package and outstanding work/life balance. Position Highlights: Schedule: Eight 24-hour shifts per month with no on-call duty or office management responsibilities Annual Salary: $250,000 - $350,000 Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, Rx, CME allowance, 401k employer match, professional liability insurance with tail coverage Time Off: 20 days off per month Key Responsibilities: Caring for all emergent OB patients, regardless of circumstance Building strong relationships with nursing staff and hospital personnel Supporting private practice physicians with coverage and assistance Providing consultation to the ED, monitoring labor, delivering babies, performing surgeries, and treating postpartum patients Offering support and education to nursing staff Leadership and Advancement: Interested in leadership?
