Nurse Practitioner - Psychiatric physician employment in Virginia : TeamHealth has an exciting opportunity to grow your career as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner in our newest behavioral health practice, Chippenham Hospital in Richmond, VA.This is full time position for a PMHNP able to work independently and provide high quality and compassionate care to patients. You will be primarily responsible for consulting on and providing ongoing patient assessments with continuation of care in the emergency department and behavioral health intake unit after the medical screening exam by the ED providers. This PMHNP will perform initial and follow up psychiatric evaluations, as requested by and in collaboration with ED providers.This is a unique opportunity to provide quality psychiatric care with a collaborative team in a hospital based setting.
