MedStar Health is seeking a patient-focused, committed Nurse Navigator to join our Outpatient Oncology Surgical Urology in the Cancer Institute. As a member of the Division of Nursing's (DON), you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of patient care in this specialized field.Position OverviewThe Nurse Navigator is responsible for the coordination of patient care across the continuum within the scope of nursing practice. The navigator educates/provides information and support to patients to guide and facilitate understanding of treatment plans. The Nurse Navigator oversees, directs, and provides holistic, culturally competent, and evidence-based nursing care.
