Oversee patient care activities within the unit, ensuring compassionate, patient-centered, and high-quality care delivery, particularly for patients with neurological conditions. Manage day-to-day operations of the Neuro ICU, including resource allocation, equipment maintenance, and inventory management. Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and optimize neurocritical care services. Serve as a key leader and responder during emergencies, providing direction and support to the team in high-pressure situations. Candidate requirements Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or related field preferred. Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas. Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience in neurocritical care or critical care, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required. Certification in Critical Care Nursing (CCRN) or Neuroscience Nursing (CNRN) is preferred.
