Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain high standards of care in the Emergency Services department. Oversee patient care activities, including triage, assessment, treatment, and discharge, ensuring timely and effective care delivery. Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and continuity of care in the emergency setting. Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes and department performance, implementing improvements to enhance patient safety and satisfaction. Candidate requirements A bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required; a Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or related field is preferred. A minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in acute care ER is required. Preference will be given to candidates with a track record of progressive leadership roles. National Specialty Certification or plan to achieve within 1 year of hire. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications are required.
