Description:
The Patient Care Manager is responsible for providing the overall leadership and management of the Intensive Care Unit and for producing successful outcomes and results. Responsibilities : Identifies ideas and actions to grow patient volumes. Ensures that ICU comply with all healthcare regulations, nursing regulations, Joint Commission, and company policies & procedures. Manages ICU to ensure the financial budget is achieved. Assesses opportunities for cost savings. Identifies ideas, actions, and processes to improve quality, reduce risk, and maintain patient safety. Maintains excellent customer service. Identifies areas for service improvements. Selects and hires high performing staff members. Assists nursing personnel in the delivery of nursing care, and performs RN duties. Requirements : Bachelor's in Nursing (BSN) degree or Masters in Nursing (MSN). Licensed Registered Nurse in the state of Illinois. CPR & ACLS certification by AHA accredited program required. 3-5 years of nurse management, charge nurse or other leadership experience preferred.
