Description:
RESPONSIBILITIES * Receiving and Shipping: * Receive incoming shipments, verify their contents, and update inventory records accordingly. * Keeping track of incoming and outgoing loads by checking trucks in and out on scheduling software. * Data Entry: * Enter inventory data into the company's database or inventory management software. * Organization and Storage: * Completing all necessary paperwork upon shipment receipt. * Organizing and filing inbound paperwork. * Collaboration: * Work closely with the dock team to create a plan for inbound deliveries, i.e., where the items will be put away, to ensure a smooth process. * Assist dock team in directing drivers, labeling material, and staying in contact with the guard shack. QUALIFICATIONS * High school diploma or equivalent. * Previous experience in inventory control or a related field is preferred. * Strong attention to detail and accuracy. * Familiarity with using inventory management software or tools. * Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
