Air pollution control and gas handling is a key component of all modern industrial facilities. Hatch’s Industrial Clean Tech practice comprised of over 60 engineering specialists with multiple decades of experience in air pollution control and gas handling systems focusing on responding to our clients’ needs with respect to environmental compliance and workplace hygiene to ensure their plant’s full productivity potential. The Hatch office in Trail, BC is currently seeking an Engineering Trainee to join its Industrial Clean Tech practice. Responsibilities: Perform mass and energy balances and prepare process flow diagrams Perform on site measurements Work in a multi-disciplinary engineering team, with focus on assisting Industrial Clean Technology projects. Actively participate in preparing technical calculations, reports, specifications, and datasheets Data analysis and computer modeling Meetings and collaboration with client teams Requirements: Graduate or undergraduate degree in chemical or mechanical engineering 0 – 3 years.
