Neurology physician employment in Connecticut : A hospital employed community-based practice in Hartford County is currently seeking a licensed Neurologist for a promising position with their growing team. About the Opportunity Schedule: Monday to Friday Hours: Standard business Setting: Outpatient except when on call Call: Rotate every 7 days but there are less than 10 inpatient consults per week/light weekends and nights Responsibilities: The Neurologist will Diagnosing complex medical problems by referring to a patient's history, examining them, and conducting neurological tests Counseling patients on neurological disorders and their background Ordering neurological tests and interpreting the results of neuroimaging studies Prescribing and/or administering treatment and medication Monitoring the behavioral and cognitive side effects of treatment and medication Ordering supportive care services for patients Participating in neuroscience research activities. Acting as a liaison with medical professionals in the community and hospitals Keeping up-to-date with neurological developments, treatments, and medication Qualifications: Current unrestricted CT medical license Board Certified/Eligible in Neurology (MD/DO) DEA / BLS / ACLS Ability to read EEGs is a plus Your privacy is important to us.
