About the Role: Black Fox is seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Network Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our client's robust network infrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance, security, and reliability of our client's network systems. Key Responsibilities: Network Design and Architecture: Develop and implement network designs, including LAN, WAN, wireless, and data center networks. Network Implementation and Configuration: Configure and troubleshoot network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers. Network Security: Implement and maintain network security measures to protect sensitive data and systems. Network Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor network performance, identify and resolve network issues, and implement preventive measures. Project Management: Lead and participate in network projects, including upgrades, migrations, and new deployments. Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps. Required Qualifications: Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, etc.) Experience with network devices (Cisco, Juniper, etc.) Proficiency in network security tools and techniques Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Relevant certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, etc.) Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) Knowledge of network automation tools (Ansible, Python, etc.) Experience with network virtualization technologies (SDN, NFV) Experience with network security technologies (IPS, IDS, WAF) Location: Hybrid (Two (2) days off-site at a suitable remote location, three (3) days on-site at the Maryland Judiciary Information Systems)If you are a passionate network engineer with a strong technical background, we encourage you to apply.Powered by JazzHR
