This position offers the opportunity to work on high-impact cases in the areas of water, environmental, and land use law, serving both public and private clients. The ideal candidate will be passionate about environmental law and eager to tackle complex challenges in a collaborative setting.Location:Sacramento, CADuties:Handle water and environmental law cases for a diverse client base, including public entities and private organizations.Provide legal counsel on land use, environmental regulations, and Tribal law matters.Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative legal strategies.Engage in litigation and manage cases from inception through resolution.Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and prepare for court appearances.Requirements:3-7 years of experience in natural resources law, environmental law, water law, or land use law.Strong legal analysis, writing, and research skills.Ability to manage multiple cases and work in a fast-paced environment.Experience with litigation is preferred.Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction(s).Skills:Expertise in environmental and natural resources law.Strong litigation and case management abilities.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.Proficiency in legal research and drafting.Benefits:Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.401(k) retirement plan with employer contributions.Generous paid time off and holidays.Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.Flexible compensation structure based on individual contributions.
