If so, our Lamar Corporate office in Baton Rouge, Louisiana is now hiring a new National Sales Intern to provide administrative support to the National sales team and post-buy services team.What you can expect from us: A part-time schedule (10-15 hours a week) between 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, depending on your school schedule An hourly rate of $15 / hourAt Lamar's Corporate headquarters, you can enjoy: Seasonal Corporate perks such as holiday parties, crawfish boils, and food trucks A beautifully renovated office building with a modern design, a beverage refreshment station, a relaxing dining area, and an outdoor patio!Qualifications: Highly organized with a systematic approach to detail-oriented work Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word and Excel) Proficiency in Adobe Suite software Strong written and verbal communication skills Able to work independently and act on own initiative Knowledge of and familiarity with social networking platformsEducation and Experience: High School diploma or equivalent required Must be in current pursuit of an Associate or Bachelor's degree in a related field of study Concentration in Graphic Design, Advertising, or Marketing preferredA Day in the Life:The National Intern assists the post-buy services wing of our National Sales Department with, but not limited to, the following: Communicating with local markets and sales support Gathering, entering, and analyzing advertising data Providing Proof of Performance (i.e. advertisement copies for customers) Gathering and organizing Glamour Photos (i.e. high quality photos for Proof of Performance) Digital Filing (i.e Google drive and Highspot) Generation and collection of sales materials Other tasks and responsibilities as assignedPhysical Demands and Work Environment: The primary work environment is an office. The specific physical demands/requirements of the job include: lifting less than 25% of the time, reading, color distinction, acuity, sitting greater than 50% of the time, and talking.
