MRI Technologist - Travel Contract

Description:
Certification Details ARRT registered is required. Advanced certification through ARRT in ARRT-MR is required within 18 months of hire. Job Details Performs MRI studies under the direction of a radiologist and oversight of a senior MRI Technologist. This individual interacts with imaging staff, nursing, physicians, patients and visitors. Acts as a resource person for MRI technical, and other issues, and demonstrates competence according to specific guidelines and prescribed protocols. Operates MRI and related equipment, prepares scan room - equipment, supplies and medications. This individual also maintains images and archives associated with patient data. Other duties as assigned. Job Requirements ARRT registered is required. Advanced certification through ARRT in ARRT-MR is required within 18 months of hire. CT certification must be achieved within 30 months of hire date. BCLS certified within 90 days of hire date. State of WI license in Radiologic Technology if incumbent performs CT, general radiography or any other imaging using ionizing radiation; if practice is limited to MRI and/or Ultrasound, no state license is required. Additional Details - SITE SPECIFIC: For those sites requiring advanced certification in MRI & CT, MR must be achieved within the first 18 months. CT certification must be achieved within 30 months of hire date.
