The certificate program will be paired with hands-on clinical hours teaching the students techniques and procedures vital to becoming a certified MRI Technologist. Shift: Days Hours: Full Time Location: Inova Fairfax Medical Center Certification - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ( ARRT) registered in radiography or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMIT) or Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) certification 18 months upon acceptance of the offer.; Basic Life Support (BLS) Upon Start Responsibilities: - Participate in a structured training program to learn the principles of MRI technology, safety protocols, and patient care procedures. - Complete Training Modules and exams as scheduled. - Attend educational sessions and workshops to enhance knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology relevant to MRI imaging. - Prepare MRI equipment and examination rooms before procedures. - Safely administer starter IV, and correctly utilize the power injector for exams requiring IV contrast. Requirements: Certification - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registered in radiography or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMIT) or Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) certification 18 months upon acceptance of the offer.; Basic Life Support (BLS) Upon Start Licensure - None required Experience - 2 years of clinical working experience Education - Highschool diploma or equivalent Inova Job ID .
