Position Details: Title: Motor Mechanic Location: Massillon, OH Shift: M-F, 7a-4p schedule Compensation: $22-$28/hr depending on qualifications and experience! + Sign-on Bonus! Benefits: Health and dental coverage, 401K, paid holidays, generous PTO, and more! Travel: This job is performed at the company facility. Position Description: In this position, you will repair various kinds of electro-mechanical equipment. --- Test electro-mechanical equipment to troubleshoot known or suspected problems using various methods. --- Disassemble electro-mechanical equipment noting parts identification, configuration and condition. --- Clean electro-mechanical equipment assemblies as needed using various methods and steps, including parts washers/steamers, caustic tanks, glass beaders, etc. --- Measure for or note proper replacement parts. Correctly requisition needed items from storekeeper as approved by supervisor. --- Replace or repair worn, or defective mechanical or electro-mechanical assemblies, including bearings, brushes, brush holders, motor leads, gears, seals, impellers, mechanical switches, brakes, clutches, clutch rotors, tachs, fans, end shields, etc. --- Retest reassembled electro-mechanical equipment for proper output and operation. --- Complete the required paperwork for each job accurately and on a timely basis. --- Operate specialized repair and testing equipment and other equipment as needed. --- Observe all safety procedures and policies and use proper protective equipment (especially eye, and ear protection and steel toe shoes/boots, gloves, etc.) Requirements: This is a great position for the electro-mechanically inclined and skilled candidates with motor mechanic experience looking for a great, long-term opportunity in a growing industry!
