As a key member of our top-producing team, you will manage all aspects of the "contract to close" phase of the loan process. Your sharp attention to detail and outstanding customer service skills will be essential as you gather necessary information, address client inquiries, and seamlessly manage any last-minute adjustments to ensure timely closings. We’re looking for someone who can prioritize and multitask independently while meeting multiple deadlines, and who works well in a collaborative team setting. Responsibilities: • Submit detailed loan packages to the lender underwriting department for approval or denial. Communicate with underwriters to clarify conditions and satisfy these by coordinating with the borrower • Maintain detailed documentation of the loan process in our system - from origination to close• Handle all borrower communication from the point of contract to closing the loan• Follow up on loan documentation ordered in a timely manner to ensure closing dates and company deadlines are met• Order the following property and loan documentation as necessary for each file: verification of employment, evidence of insurance, payoffs, tax transcripts, credit supplements, condo questionnaires, subordination requests, and title work to ensure a smooth loan process Qualifications: • Exceptional attention to detail, and must be organized and have excellent time management skills• Can correctly analyze and interpret income, and asset documents, credit reports, and the variety of ways to structure a loan • Solid understanding of mortgage loan products (FHA/VA/CONV/USDA) and knowledge of mortgage procedures, processes, and documentation• Great interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills• Experience working in a broker’s environment and using Calyx Point software Compensation: $40,000+ About Company: Join our family at Summit Lending!
