Responsibilities:• Calculate income and assets and have an understanding of how to structure a loan• Stack and submit clean, organized, and complete files• Request clear conditions and communicate incredibly well with borrowers, underwriters, and realtors• Partner with loan officers to ensure loans are structured correctly and comply with underwriting guidelines• Managing the loan pipeline, and ensuring timely completion of documentation• Maintain effective communication and provide regular updates to clients, real estate agents, and attorneys involved in the loan process• Deliver exceptional customer service to address inquiries and resolve issues during the loan process Qualifications:• 2+ years of experience as a Loan Officer Assistant, Loan Processor, Loan Officer, or similar position• Ideally mortgage broker channel experience• Licensed Mortgage Loan Originator a plus, or willingness to become licensed• Ability to calculate income and assets and structure loans effectively• Deep knowledge of Fannie, Freddie, FHA, and VA guidelines• Familiarity with DU and LP• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail• Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others Compensation: $85,000+ About Company: GoRascal is a New York City based mortgage brokerage that’s building the happiest home for loan officers.
