We are looking for an experienced, service-oriented, and detail-oriented mortgage loan officer to join our team. We believe in removing obstacles and creating a supportive environment for you to thrive in. This is a remote position, but applicants must be licensed and reside in either California, Oregon, Washington, Colorado, Idaho, Texas, Florida, or Michigan. All other applicants will not be considered. Responsibilities: • Maintain and build relationships through networking and prospecting with bankers, realtors, builders, and your community to attract new business• Communicate a thorough understanding of different loan programs and closing costs to help prospective buyers make a decision• Maintain an active rolling pipeline of funding per our guidelines• Review the loan process by monitoring loan status, term conformity, and regulatory guidelines• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of all required documents from borrowers, loan officers, title companies and other related industry professionals Qualifications: • Maintain current registration with the National Mortgage Licensing System Registry• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, superb interpersonal and customer service skills, and exceptional decision-making ability• Strong understanding of company loan policies and guidelines, as well as all federal and state regulations• Familiarity with multiple types of loans such as conventional, fixed/ adjustable, FHA, VA, USDA, bridge, non-conforming, FNMA and FHLMC, and Home Equity Lines of Credit• Must be licensed and reside in either California, Oregon, Washington, Colorado, Idaho, Texas, Florida, or Michigan Compensation: $90,000+ at plan yearly About Company: Our business model that puts the customers first, Oceans Mortgage & Realty has seen significant expansion in the last few years.
