We are looking for an experienced, service, and detail-oriented mortgage loan officer to join our team. We believe in removing obstacles and creating a supportive environment for you to thrive in. Responsibilities: • Work closely with borrowers, loan officers, title companies/attorneys, or insurance companies to gather and prepare all documents needed to satisfy underwriting requirements• Prospect, develop, and maintain relationships with potential new business referral partners such as realtors, builders, bank colleagues, and the community at large • Interface with realtors, processors, and underwriters to ensure a smooth transaction while overseeing all customer interactions• Monitor the mortgage process to ensure all company and regulatory processes are adhered to• Exceed our production standards by maintaining an active pipeline Qualifications: • Strong understanding of company loan policies and guidelines, as well as all federal and state regulations• Banking, business, real estate, or related Bachelor’s degree required• Maintain current registration with the National Mortgage Licensing System Registry• Office Suite knowledge and loan originating software such as Calyx, Experian, or LendingWise preferred• Familiarity with multiple types of loans such as conventional, fixed/ adjustable, FHA, VA, USDA, bridge, non-conforming, FNMA and FHLMC, and Home Equity Lines of Credit• This position is in office and is located in Irvine, California Compensation: $16 hourly + commission About Company: Mission Loans is fiercely and unapologetically competitive when it comes to winning over new team members and customers as well as helping them achieve their goals.
