Job Title: Junior Buyer (Procurement) with SAP Experience Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our procurement team as a Junior Buyer. This role focuses on sourcing and procuring goods and services while utilizing the SAP software platform for efficient management of procurement activities. As a Junior Buyer, you will support the procurement process by assisting in buying activities, collaborating with internal stakeholders, utilizing SAP software, monitoring supplier performance, conducting market research, and contributing to the development and implementation of procurement strategies. This position is specifically for mine buying. Responsibilities: Assist in the procurement process by buying from approved contracts and suppliers. Select suppliers/vendors based on price, quality, delivery, and other relevant criteria. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement requirements and develop effective strategies to meet their needs. Utilize SAP software for creating purchase orders, tracking orders, managing contracts, and maintaining accurate procurement records. Monitor and track supplier performance, including delivery times, quality of goods/services, and customer satisfaction. Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, negotiate prices, and establish favorable contractual terms. Support the development and implementation of procurement strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
