This position involves representing diverse clients, including business owners, landlords, managing agents, and commercial entities, in general liability litigation. The role offers a hybrid work model and ample opportunities for professional growth within a collaborative, supportive team environment.LocationParsippany, NJDutiesCollaborate with senior litigators to develop defense strategies for general liability cases.Draft and review pleadings, discovery documents, motions, briefs, and other legal correspondence.Represent clients in court proceedings and all aspects of general liability litigation.Participate in depositions, hearings, conferences, and other stages of litigation.Engage with medical experts to support case development.Conduct thorough legal and medical research and analysis as needed.Maintain regular client interactions, providing case updates and advisement.Work cohesively with other team members on high-exposure and complex litigation cases.RequirementsMinimum of 3 years of experience in personal injury litigation or related general liability litigation.Admission to practice law in New York.Familiarity with New York Labor Law (preferred but not required).EducationJuris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.CertificationsLicensed to practice law in New York (in good standing).SkillsStrong legal research, writing, and oral communication skills.Ability to build client relationships and instill confidence.Proficiency in managing multiple projects and effective prioritization.Excellent organizational and time management abilities.Problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.BenefitsEligibility for a performance-based discretionary bonus.Comprehensive benefits package, including health and wellness resources, professional development, and career advancement opportunities.Collegial and supportive work environment with opportunities for long-term growth.
