This role involves representing diverse commercial clients, including landlords, business owners, managing agents, and security organizations, in various general liability cases. The ideal candidate will have a strong litigation background and experience in high-stakes cases, with a commitment to delivering strategic legal solutions and excellent client service.DutiesDevelop and execute effective litigation strategies for general liability cases.Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery materials, and briefs.Represent clients in court, managing all aspects of trial preparation and courtroom proceedings.Participate in depositions, hearings, conferences, and other litigation-related activities.Collaborate with medical experts and conduct legal and medical research to support cases.Engage in active client interaction, providing strategic advice and ensuring client confidence.RequirementsLicensed to practice law in New York.Minimum of 3 years of experience in personal injury litigation or related general liability defense.Familiarity with New York Labor Law is advantageous.EducationJuris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the New York State Bar.CertificationsActive Bar license in the state of New York.SkillsStrong research, writing, and verbal communication skills.Proven ability to build client relationships and inspire confidence.Excellent organizational and time management skills, with an ability to handle multiple cases and deadlines.Problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.Job LocationGarden City, NYBenefitsComprehensive health and wellness benefits package.Opportunities for career development and professional growth.Collaborative and supportive work environment.Eligible for a discretionary performance-based bonus.
