The ideal candidate will possess strong academic credentials and demonstrate superior written and verbal communication skills. With over 8 years of experience in litigation, including all stages of discovery, motion practice, prosecution, and trial preparation, the successful candidate will be expected to handle complex cases and provide strategic legal counsel. This position offers an opportunity to work on high-profile matters and advance within the firm.Key Responsibilities:Manage complex litigation cases from inception through resolution.Oversee all stages of discovery, including document review, depositions, and interrogatories.Draft, file, and argue motions, including dispositive and procedural motions.Prepare cases for trial, including developing trial strategy, preparing witnesses, and drafting trial briefs.Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, and settlement negotiations.Provide legal advice and develop case strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to manage caseloads and ensure timely case progression.Stay updated on legal developments and changes in relevant laws and regulations.Requirements:Minimum of 8 years of litigation experience.Comprehensive experience in all discovery stages, motion practice, prosecution, and trial preparation.Strong academic credentials from an accredited law school.Superior written and verbal communication skills.Ability to handle complex cases and provide strategic legal counsel.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Active bar membership in the state of New York.Skills:Extensive experience in drafting and arguing motions.Proficient in managing complex litigation and case strategy.Strong legal research and analytical skills.Excellent oral advocacy and negotiation abilities.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.High level of organizational skills and attention to detail.
