The successful candidate will be instrumental in managing complex IP litigation matters. The role requires a technical background in computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering, as well as strong academic credentials and exceptional writing and research skills. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience in intellectual property litigation and will be responsible for advancing cases through all stages of litigation.Duties and Responsibilities:Manage complex intellectual property litigation, including cases related to patents, trademarks, and trade secrets.Draft and file legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs.Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support litigation strategies.Oversee discovery processes, including document review, production, and deposition preparation.Represent clients in court, including participating in hearings, trials, and settlement negotiations.Develop and implement effective case strategies in collaboration with clients and legal teams.Provide mentorship and guidance to junior attorneys and legal support staff.Stay updated on developments in intellectual property law and relevant technological advancements.Requirements:4-6 years of experience in intellectual property litigation.Preferably holds a technical background in computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering.Strong academic credentials with demonstrated excellence in legal research and writing.Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple complex cases simultaneously.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Technical degree in computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering is highly preferred.Certifications:Admission to the Ohio Bar or eligibility for admission is required.Skills:Expertise in managing intellectual property litigation, including patents, trademarks, and trade secrets.Strong technical knowledge in computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering.Exceptional legal research, writing, and analytical skills.Effective communication and interpersonal skills for client and team interactions.Ability to handle complex litigation and manage discovery processes efficiently.
