This role is tailored for candidates with 4-6 years of transactional legal experience, ideally with a background in finance law. LocationChicago, ILDutiesManage and support a variety of fund finance transactions within the Finance Restructuring team.Draft, negotiate, and review complex finance-related agreements and transactional documents.Conduct legal research to provide strategic insights and support for finance transactions.Maintain consistent and clear communication with clients, offering guidance and updates on fund finance matters.Ensure all finance transactions adhere to legal standards and best practices.Requirements4-6 years of experience in transactional law, preferably with a focus on finance law.Strong academic credentials with demonstrated research and analytical skills.Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.EducationJuris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.CertificationsActive bar membership in good standing in the candidate’s state of residence.SkillsProficiency in drafting, negotiating, and managing complex finance-related legal documents.Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.Detail-oriented with the capability to handle multiple priorities effectively.Collaborative mindset with excellent interpersonal skills.BenefitsCompetitive salary commensurate with experience.Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and additional perks (details available upon request). The Chicago office is focused on insurance coverage litigation and counseling for clients in Chicago and the Midwest. The lawyers of this small office seem to truly enjoy working together.
