The ideal candidate will have diversified executive compensation and benefits practice and experience advising private and public companies and alternative asset managers on executive compensation matters, including supporting mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and capital markets matters.Duties:Advise private and public companies on executive compensation and employee benefits mattersProvide support for mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence and integration of benefitsCounsel clients on corporate governance and compliance related to executive compensationAssist with the design and implementation of equity and cash incentive plansPrepare and review executive compensation disclosures in proxy statements and other SEC filingsAdvise on deferred compensation arrangements and 409A complianceSupport clients in negotiating employment agreements, severance arrangements, and other compensation-related contractsStay current with regulatory and legislative developments affecting executive compensation and employee benefitsRequirements:3-5 years of experience in executive compensation and employee benefitsAdmitted to the New York BarStrong understanding of executive compensation and employee benefits laws and regulationsExperience advising on mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and capital markets mattersExcellent credentials from a top-tier law schoolEducation:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law schoolCertifications:Admission to the New York State BarSkills:Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneouslyStrong client service orientation and ability to work effectively in a team environmentHigh attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and take initiative This law firm has offices in Frankfurt, Seoul, New York, Moscow, Rome, Brussels, Abu Dhabi, Beijing, London, Cologne, Sao Paulo, Washington, Buenos Aires and Milan.
