About the Department You will be joining Fill & Finish Expansions (FFEx), which is responsible for all major expansion activities within aseptic production, solid dosage forms, finished products, fill & finish warehousing, and QC across all production areas in Product Supply. The area is anchored in Product Supply, Quality & IT, which globally employ approx. 20,000 of Novo Nordisk’s 50,000 employees. FFEx is a newly established and growing area with the responsibility to design, plan, and build all new aseptic filling capacity across Novo Nordisk to serve the needs of millions of patients. The Position This individual is responsible for calibration of measuring equipment in accordance with written procedures. Ensures all calibrations and documentation are in accordance with cGMP, NNUSBPI, and corporate guidelines. Relationships Reports to: According to the organizational chart Number of subordinates with direct/indirect referral: n/a Essential Functions Performs testing and calibration of production equipment and measurement standards across multiple measurement disciplines, in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures Maintain documentation and (Regulatory Asset Manager/RAM) database pertaining to calibration activities Completes required documentation in a manner compliant with all regulatory standards Assist plant personnel with troubleshooting and repair of production, laboratory, utility systems and equipment Performs other job duties assigned Performs all job duties and responsibilities in a compliant and ethical manner and in accordance with all applicable healthcare laws, regulations and industry codes Incorporates the Novo Nordisk Way and 10 Essentials in all activities and interactions with others Physical Requirements 0-10% overnight travel required. The ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, stand, and walk. The ability to push, pull, lift, finger, feel, and grasp. The ability to speak, listen, and understand verbal and written communication. Repetition including substantial movement of wrists, hands, and or fingers. Lifting up to 33lbs/15kg of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Visual acuity to perform close activities such as: reading, writing, and analyzing; and to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of work assigned or to make general observations. The working environment includes a variety of physical conditions including: noise, vibration, inside and outside conditions including temperature changes, extreme cold, and extreme heat; proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to high heat or exposure to chemicals. The working environment frequently includes close quarters and narrow aisles or passageways. Qualifications Education and Certifications: Associates degree in relevant field or equivalent military training or industrial training which includes an understanding of metrology, instrumentation and controls Work Experience: 2 years’ experience with electronics calibration, troubleshooting and repair experience Experience working within a cGMP environment is desirable Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Must be computer literate Strong written and verbal communication skills required Demonstrated ability to work with a team Technical Aptitude of electronics and/or mechanics is a plus We commit to an inclusive recruitment process and equality of opportunity for all our job applicants.
