The role involves managing the firm's transaction database, preparing legal documents, monitoring legal developments, and assisting with training and marketing efforts. Duties:Input deal terms from signed firm deals into the Transaction DatabaseCoordinate with the knowledge management team to audit and maintain the databasePrepare drafts or revise existing precedent of template documentsCurate and organize the MA group's forms, precedents, and other know-howMonitor legal and regulatory developments relevant to MA practice and prepare summaries and alertsCoordinate with the legal education team to brainstorm content for associate trainingWork with the MA marketing team to strategize on MA promotion and assist with content creation for pitches and teach-insAssist attorneys with day-to-day requests for precedents, templates, and other resourcesParticipate in resource, knowledge management, and practice innovation projects as assigned Requirements:Must be a licensed attorneyBasic understanding of public and private MA, corporate governance, board fiduciary duties, and market trendsStrong drafting and organizational skills Education Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school Experience:7+ years of experience in a US MA corporate/transactional practice Benefits:Medical, dental, and vision insuranceHealth savings account (with applicable medical plan)Health and/or dependent care flexible spending accountsPre-tax commuter benefitsLife insurance and ADDLong-term care coverageBackup care for children and/or adultsOther parental support benefits Creative lawyering in a laid back environment is big draw for associates at this Amlaw firm.
