Practice Area: Corporate - M&A, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 7 Years, A law firm in Los Angeles is seeking a seasoned Mergers and Acquisitions Resource Attorney to support the firm's MA practice by inputting deal terms into the Transaction Database, preparing template documents, monitoring legal developments, and collaborating with various teams within the firm. Duties:Input deal terms from signed firm deals into the Transaction DatabaseCoordinate with the knowledge management team to audit and maintain the databasePrepare drafts or revise existing precedent of template documentsCurate and organize the MA group's forms, precedents, and other know-howMonitor legal and regulatory developments related to MA practice, prepare summaries, and alertsCoordinate with the legal education team to brainstorm content for associate training and firmwide training efforts on MACollaborate with the MA marketing team to strategize on MA promotion, assist with content creation for pitches and teach-insField day-to-day requests from attorneys for precedents, templates, and other resourcesParticipate in resource, knowledge management, and practice innovation projects as assigned Requirements:Must be a licensed attorney7+ years of experience in a US MA corporate/transactional practiceBasic understanding of public and private MA, corporate governance, board fiduciary duties, and market trendsStrong drafting and organizational skills Education Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school Benefits:Medical, dental, and vision insurance optionsHealth savings account (with the applicable medical plan)Health and/or dependent care flexible spending accountsPre-tax commuter benefitsLife insurance and ADD coverageLong-term care coverageBackup care for children and/or adultsOther parental support benefits
