Position Title: Mental Health Clinician/Professional - $5000 Sign on Bonus - Pamunkey Regional Jail Location: Hanover, VA Salary Range: $42.00 - $42.00 Hourly We are currently seeking a Full time Day Shift Mental Health Clinician/Professional to join our team at Pamunkey Regional Jail located in Hanover, Virginia.. About this Mental Health Clinician/Professional position:?This position is a mental health position that will be evaluating and providing mental health services to the inmate population. This person should be able to diffuse situations and report information appropriately to other GENESYS Health Alliance providers, staff members, corporate staff or facility administration. There is an expectation that this individual maintains professional knowledge of GENESYS Health Alliance policy and procedures. The person filling this position is expected to be an example for other staff members in behavior, attitude and skills. ?Mental Health Clinician/Professional Education/Qualifications Master's Degree in a Mental Health related discipline Licensure in South Carolina as a LCSW, LMHC, LMSW or LPC Four (4) years of experience directing or supervising therapeutic staff and/or related experience preferred but not required Active BLS Healthcare Provider/CPR Certification from the American Health Association or the American Red Cross Job Type: Full Time Correctional experience preferred, but not required Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background checkAvailable shift: 10 hour Shifts 8A-6P (Day Shift) General Duties (including but not limited to) ?One year of Mental Health experience preferred Excellent problem solving skills with strong organizational abilities Knowledge in a range of counseling and therapeutic techniques Ability to manage multiple issues or deadlines in stressful situations with tact and professionalism Excellent communication skills; Ability to concisely communicate situations or needs effectively with sites and GENESYS Health Alliance Corporate Managers Provides necessary counseling as required for the patient Assess the patient's psychosocial needs and evaluate the progress with the supervisor Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient Focuses on assisting patient through discharge process of both in and out patient treatment facilities as applicable Utilizes a variety of therapy techniques and treatment plans Facilitates patient progress and referrals Adheres to Company policies and procedures when providing services to patients Observes, documents and reports patient progress Performs other duties as assigned/necessaryWe offer competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits for our full-time team members including: Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance plan options Supplemental plans - Life, Cancer, Accident, and Short Term Disability plans 401(k) matching (after 1 year) Paid holidays PTO - Vacation, sick, and bereavementSupplemental pay types: ?Sign on bonus - $5000 - Applies only to Full Time EmployeesPhysical setting: ?Corrections (Jail / Prison / Detention Center)GENESYS Health Alliance is an EOE/Minorities/Female/Vet/Disability Employer #IND24 Compensation details: 42-42 Hourly Wage PIa2690dcdd149-37248-35801770
