Member Solutions Representative Community 1st Credit Union is looking for a Spanish speaking Member Solutions Rep, to join our team in ensuring to preserve the Credit Union's assets by controlling collections. Responsibilities include but are not limited to; Contacting delinquent accounts by phone and mail; takes appropriate action to bring current. Analyzes financial situation of delinquent borrowers; makes recommendations to repossess collateral when other arrangements to bring the loan current are unsuccessful. Maintain accurate files and reports on all collections activity. Informs management of trends in loan underwriting contributing to delinquent/charge-off loans. To ensure timely contact of members with delinquent loans. Initiate calls to members to follow up on promises to pay or return contact. To adhere to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and credit union collection policies. To submit records in collection software in complete, accurate, and timely manner. Working knowledge of additional responsibilities including but not limited to bankruptcy, foreclosure, vehicle repossession, charge-off accounts and loans. Provide courteous, friendly, positive and professional service to all members and credit union associates. Job Requirements; Strong communication skills both verbal and written. Fluent Spanish speaking abilities. Proficient with Microsoft office. Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for purposes of giving or obtaining information, building relationships, or soliciting cooperation. Must be self-motivated with the ability work well in team environment. Maintain a high level of confidentiality while promoting a professional environment.
